Say hello to Lachy Porter
“About 4 months ago I was in line at Boost Juice in Fountain Gate when I bumped into Kane Worthy who I played football with 5 years ago. We talked for a while about what we’d been up to, and when it came to work it was clear that I wasn’t where I wanted to be as a trainer and Kane told me about what it was like to work at UFT and suggested that I message Denee Lalouette (who I met when he was a coach at the football club) to ask about the possibility of working at UFT.”
“I met with Denee two days later and it took me all of 10 minutes to decide that UFT was the place that I needed to work, I started at 6am the next Monday.”
“Within that 10 minutes I saw the environment that UFT creates, one that is positive and hard-working, built around fun and loving what you do and the people that you’re doing it with. It’s the sort of environment that makes you excited to be back in again at 5:30am after you’ve finished work past 9pm the night before.”
“From my perspective; to see how driven and passionate Denee and the other trainers are, and to see the care and support they give to each other as well as the members is truly one of a kind. As well as meeting the members, getting to know them (and the great people that they are!), seeing them improve, and seeing the enjoyment that we all get from being a part of UFT, you can’t help but want to spend more time there.”
“Everyone at UFT treats each other like family, no matter if it sounds cliché or if you’ve heard it before, once you join UFT you’re really a part of the family.”
“UFT is a community where people come together to become better, to play, and to grow and there is nowhere else like it. I’ve never seen another gym/facility/centre where people who are on their week off from work will come and stay for hours after training just to talk and mess around, where people are encouraged to play and do something they wouldn’t do anywhere else, where people are constantly challenged and supported to be better, where people will spend up to half a day (if not a whole day) of their weekend because that’s the exact place that they want to be.”
“Why UFT? More importantly why anywhere else? Because there is no place like UFT”
🙂
