Don’t lose your gainz!

Strength training for the lockdown.

The gym is closed, training stays open.

There are still plenty of ways to train if you’re stuck at home, and constraints only breed creativity.

Here’s an overview of focus areas for this time:

1. Change/manage expectations.

2. Train explosive movements to maintain some neural strength qualities.

3. Hold onto as much muscle as possible with higher volume (more sets/reps) and closer proximity to failure (RPE/RIR).

4. Push the total amount of work you do (work capacity) by manipulating variables like time caps, rest periods, emoms etc

5. Have fun, cos we ain’t done”
