How do you become as a fit as a professional fighter?
We have been training people for years and years. And one of the most common things that people say to us is, “How do I get as fit as you?”
It’s a pretty awesome and crazy question though.
Because you are asking what it takes to become as fit as a professional fighter.
Would you ask the same question to an AFL footballer? Or any other professional sportsperson?
Regardless of who you ask or what style of fighting they do, there is one simple rule when it comes to becoming as fit as a professional fighter.
That rule is:
Train like a professional fighter!
Master the basics, work hard, have a focus, have great training partners, look after your body, recover well, eat well, sleep well and train like a champion.
If you can do that, then it’s only a matter of time before you reach the goal you’re after.
Whether that goal is to fight, or just to be as fit as possible.
Set your goal, find your mentor and get after it.
Like a pro would.
I’ll let you know now, it’s a hard slog. It’s going to suck at times.
But hell it’s totally worth it.
